Logo System
The Sippa logo embodies calm, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury. Its form — rising smoke shaping into an S above a minimalist cup — represents both serenity and substance. Every line is deliberate. Every curve is intentional.
Non-Negotiables
- Use official SVG files only — Always use the canonical logo assets (SippaLogoWhite.svg or SippaLogo.svg). Never recreate, redraw, or modify the logo.
- White logo on dark backgrounds — The white logo is primary. Use on Luxury Black, Sippa Purple, or Midnight Navy.
- Purple logo on light backgrounds only — The purple variant is for light surfaces or print materials. Never on dark backgrounds.
- No effects or alterations — Never add gradients, glows, shadows, rotations, or distortions. The logo's power lies in restraint.
- Contextual spacing — Half logo height for UI/navigation; full logo height for print/packaging. Always ensure breathing room.
- Never on complex backgrounds — The logo requires clean, simple backgrounds. Use approved overlays if placing on photography.
Logo Meaning
The Sippa logo represents calm precision and elevated simplicity. The rising smoke forms a soft S above a balanced cup — a universal symbol of pause and refinement. Every curve and space in the mark mirrors the brand's balance between sensory indulgence and quiet discipline.
The cup itself is intentionally ambiguous: part Asian tea vessel, part British mug. That duality reflects Sippa's philosophy — respectful of tradition, yet designed for the modern world. The upward motion of the smoke suggests flow, ritual, and mindfulness. The clean geometry of the cup conveys balance and precision.
Logo Variants
The Sippa logo exists in two primary variants. Each is optimized for specific background conditions to ensure maximum clarity and visual impact. Choose the correct variant based on the background color.
For dark backgrounds (#0A0A0E, #14052D, #141830)
For light backgrounds only (#F3F3F6 or lighter)
Usage Guidelines
The logo should feel confident and unmistakable, yet never loud — much like Apple or Netflix. It stands not as decoration, but as a quiet signature of craft. These rules are non-negotiable.
- White logo is primary The white mark is preferred for Sippa's dark, luxurious backgrounds. It feels luminous and pure against Luxury Black (#0A0A0E), Sippa Purple (#14052D), or Midnight Navy (#141830).
- Purple logo for light surfaces Use the purple mark only on lighter surfaces or printed materials where depth and hue can show fully. Never use the purple logo on dark backgrounds — it disappears.
- Use official files only Always reproduce the logo from the official SVG files (SippaLogoWhite.svg or SippaLogo.svg). Never redraw, recreate, or modify the logo. If the file is not available, request it — never improvise.
- No effects or alterations Avoid recoloring, layering, adding gradients, glows, drop shadows, or any visual effects. The logo's beauty lies in restraint. Simplicity is the brand signature.
- Never on complex backgrounds Do not place the logo on visually complex images or patterns. If photography is required, use an approved monochrome overlay with at least 70% opacity to ensure logo clarity.
- Maintain minimum size The logo should never appear smaller than 32px in height for digital applications or 10mm for print. Below this size, details become illegible.
Spacing & Clear Space
The logo needs room to breathe. Clear space protects its visual impact and ensures it never feels cramped or cluttered. The minimum clear space around the logo should be equal to the height of one logo unit.
Contextual Spacing Rules:
- UI / Navigation / Digital: Maintain clear space equal to half the logo height on all sides. This ensures the logo integrates naturally with navigation elements and UI components.
- Print / Packaging / Hero Placements: Use full logo height as clear space on all sides. This gives the mark presence and breathing room in large-format applications.
- Minimum size: 32px height (digital) or 10mm height (print). Below these sizes, legibility is compromised.
Logo Misuse Examples
The following are strictly prohibited. These misuse examples demonstrate what not to do with the Sippa logo. Each undermines the brand's visual integrity.
Never rotate the logo
Never use gold or warm metallics
Never apply gradients to the logo
Never add shadows or glows
Never distort or stretch the logo
Never use purple on dark backgrounds
